MK Infusion Pharmacy provides IV and injectable medications for in-home use. They provide individualized, quality care at home with an emphasis on Christian values.
They offer MK Heart Failure Kits, created by Dr. Montgomery, which have reduced avoidable re-hospitalizations by over 60% for heart failure patients.
MK Infusion Pharmacy is accredited by The Joint Commission and is licensed to provide care in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Fifteen counties are served in this tri-state area.
MK Infusion Pharmacy was a sponsor of the 2018 Shoals Heart Ball.
MK Infusion Pharmacy was also nominated for three 2019 Business Excellence Awards by the Shoals Chamber of Commerce. The nominations included Family-Owned Business of the Year, Woman-Owned Business of the Year, and Small Business of the Year.

Missy Montgomery, PHARM D

Missy Montgomery, Pharm. D., attended the University of North Alabama before going on to Samford University, where she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2004.

Dr. Montgomery had an amazing opportunity to move to the Memphis area in 2009 and be trained by two of the founders of home infusion. It was under their mentorship that she soon discovered a love for home infusion.

In fact, Missy found it so rewarding that in 2016 she decided to move back home to the Shoals area and open her own home infusion pharmacy. MK Infusion Pharmacy is located at 307 W State St Muscle Shoals, AL.

Montgomery also serves in the community, volunteering as one of the vice presidents of the REACT Coalition, is an active member of Caring Connection and Shoals Chamber of Commerce, donates medical supplies to Global Missions of Mercy, and teaches College and Career class at her local church.

Montgomery is grateful for the outstanding team that she has assembled around her. She considers her work to be her ministry and is proud to call the Shoals her home.

Our Team

Meagan Phillips, Pharm.D.

Meagan is a clinical pharmacist at MK Infusion Pharmacy. A native of Tuscumbia, she graduated from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2011. She completed a residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, GA. She has practiced in various pharmacy settings, including 8 years of experience providing inpatient clinical pharmacy services. Meagan is dedicated to serving patients in the Shoals areas.

Morganne Weaver, B.S., CPhT

Morganne is a native of Cherokee, AL and a 2013 graduate of Cherokee High School. She received her Bachelor of Science from Athens State University in 2019.

Morganne has over 3 years of experience as a sterile compounding pharmacy technician. She began working for MK in 2017. Morganne enjoys reading, playing piano, and traveling. She especially loves traveling to Guatemala each year for medical mission trips. She currently resides in Muscle Shoals, AL.

Chylsea Underwood, Pharmacy Tech

Chylsea is a native of muscle shoals and graduated from Muscle Shoals High School. She is a licensed pharmacy technician and began working for MK in 2018. Chylsea lived in the Philippines caring for orphans and has a passion for helping others. She enjoys long walks with her dog, Wednesday.

Amanda DiStefano, Billing Manager

Amanda recently joined the team in the summer of 2019 with 20+ years of combined experience in the healthcare industry and customer service. Amanda was born and raised in the Shoals area, she has been married for over 20 years and has two daughters. She is dedicated, self-motivated, and seeks to build on knowledge and skills gained from working in healthcare to provide a superior experience for our community of patients.

Shawn Kennedy, RN, BSN Marketing Director

Shawn was raised in the Shoals area. She received her BSN from The University of North Alabama and has practiced as a Registered Nurse for almost 20 years. She has an extensive background in home health care and critical care nursing. Shawn enjoys spending time with her family, including husband Greg, 3 children, and 6 grandchildren.

Jodie Byrd – RN, BSN Nursing Manager

Jodie was born and raised in the Shoals area. She received her BSN from The University of North Alabama and brings 7 years of ICU experience to Team MK. Jodie enjoys spending time with her family, including husband Bago and their 2 sons.

Susan Keeton – DNP, CRNP

Susan has 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner and is certified as an adult NP and Acute Care NP. Her expertise is in critical care, cardiology, internal medicine and hospitalist medicine. Susan received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011, her Masters in Science Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1998, and her Bachelors in Science Nursing from the University of North Alabama in 1996.

Marc Montgomery, CFO

Marc was born and raised in Mississippi. He is happily married to Missy and proud dad of Keeton and Mary Kate. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BBA degree in Risk Management, Insurance, and Financial Planning. Marc owns an Allstate agency in Muscle Shoals and serves on the board of directors at Covenant Christian School.
